Rishi kapoor was a people’s actor. Even though he belonged to the biggest filmy family the kapoors, he never gave the audiences, his fans the vibes of a product of nepotism.
He had started his journey with Mera Naam joker- who knew he would become an all round performer. The screen presence of the legendary actor would be so Strong, Natural and Effortless. In the latter part of his glorious career he never opted out of experimenting with the roles he played on the silver screen. Though Karz has been my all time favorite but performances in films like Damini, Namste London, Do Duni Chaar, Amar Akbar Anthony and 102 not out are few of the gems from his filmography.
All the songs featuring the great Rishi Kapoor are melodious and soothing to listen to along with watching the ever smiling face of Rishi jii onscreen.
Another aspect of his life I adore the most is he remained loyal to his family and loyal to his life till his last breath. In my opinion he was just 67 when he left us. He would have contributed even more to Bollywood and Indian film industry as a whole.
