Kaisa yeh Pyar hai Review

Kaisa yeh pyar hai is Indian television series. It is directed by Jitu Arora and produced under the banner of Balajii Telefilms. It used to air on the Sony channel in 2005. The show was so popular among the Hindi speaking audience that it was dubbed in Tamil in 2016 to give it a wider coverage.

The story line was new for 2005. The concept of a playboy was slowly emerging. Kripa has a certain image of Angad Khanna as a fan girl. It was quite interesting to watch the narrative proceed after this image breaks and she comes to terms with the reality. It is all about how their journey shapes up there after. In the show there were some really unexpected twists and turns for the time it aired on Television and managed to keep the audiences glued to their Television screens.

Iqbal khan and Neha Bamb had passionate chemistry as per the standards of the audience in 2000’s. I was introduced to the term through this pairing onscreen and I started appreciating the same. This show has been one of reasons I had started explore the media and entertainment industry.

Now let’s talk about performances of Kaisa yeh Pyar hai I liked:

  • Iqbal Khan as Angad Khanna. Iqbal played a play boy and he was my first crush from the television industry. He made us believe that love can change somebody for better. Zaib was a character where Iqbal portrayed entirely different shade and he convinced the audience for a little while that he is a look alike of Angad and Angad is dead.
  • Neha Bamb as Kripa Sharma. Neha plays Kripa who is small town girl with big dreams; she wants to meet Angad Khanna. Her character is very relatable on a personal level.
  • Suvarna Jha plays Mishti Bose. Another character I could emotionally relate to. She is a regular girl with her daily life struggles plus going through trauma when one don’t get to be with the person one loves.
