An actor is an artist who portrays a character in a performance. Actor is a neutral term used for both actors and actresses. The actor can be a part of a Play, Television show or Movies. The medium of expression shouldn’t matter but talent should be given utmost priority.
An actor is considered a crucial factor that can uplift the whole project. The character portrayals by the actors are so genuine and keep the audience so emotionally involved with the content. The actor needs to be attentive every detail the director is trying put across the table, to be able to give suggestions when asked to enhance the process of filming, must be versatile with his acting skills. An actor should be mindful of these aspects when he or she is trying to get into the skin of their respective characters:
- Who is the person the actor is playing the role of?
- Where is place the character resides or belongs to?
- What is the purpose of the character staying in the particular place?
- What has happened on this location before the character has arrived?
These are very important queries that needs responses to as the actor needs to understand the back story of the characters so that the actors can portray the same with utmost honesty so that the masses relate to them as well. The chemistry between the two main lead is another important aspect which translates into a brilliant final product.
To conclude I would like to say that Team work is very crucial for the success of any cinematic piece and absence of even 1 element can spoil the project so the film makers should be extra careful with everything during the making.
